El Dia de Accion de Gracias

Hey Guys,

The next two days will be spent learning Spanish vocabulary for Thanksgiving. While Thanksgiving is not celebrated in Spanish speaking countries, I feel that it is important to learn some of the vocabulary terms in Spanish for our own personal use (as well as have a little fun).

On Monday, we will be working in small groups to act out small skits in Spanish about a Thanksgiving feast between a pilgrim, a Native American and a turkey named, Pedro.

On Tuesday, we will be discussing various things we are thankful for this year and use our new Spanish vocabulary terms to write several complete sentences in Spanish. If time allows, we will also play Thanksgiving Vocabulary Bingo in Spanish to practice our listening skills.

We will be starting Chapter 2B after we return from break :). Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!
